Parker hates women. That is to say…okay he hates women. It wasn’t always the case. He used to be a bright eyed bushy tailed hopeful optimistic. He used to love freely and openly but years of battle wounds and bad relationships have left him a broken man. Parker has shunned the world of relationships wanting nothing to do with them. His friends are his world and Blain is his co-pilot. In Parkers eyes that’s all he needs.

Blain too has led a life of dating woes but he’s a tad bit more optimistic than Parker. But he’s also been in a dead end relationship for nearly as long as he’s been dating. His long time on again, off again relationship with Angela had all but sucked out any pleasure and enjoyment that the ideal relationship is supposed to bring but now that he’s going it alone he’s got to learn it all again and hopefully he won’t repeat the same mistakes of the past.

Parker & Blain’s neighbor. Slim is a man’s man. Divorced from a woman whom he never really wanted to marry in the first place, Slim fills his time hanging out with Parker and Blain while he rebuilds the confidence to go back out into the dating world again. Slim is larger than life, tough as nails and has the heart of a teddybear.

She’s mean, short tempered, quick to attack and has an ass to die for. Parker loves her. Or at least he thinks he could. He’s confident that she’ll probably kill him in his sleep if she ever gets the chance but he just can’t walk away.

Imagine if you will what Peppermint Patty might have become had she grown up still pining for “Chuck” and not turning out to be a lesbian. Merlot is a tough as nails, badass chick who just wants to settle down and for whatever reason can’t find the right man for her. She doesn’t seem to have a problem finding a man but tends to get hung-up between “Mr. Right” and “Mr. Right Now”
